Explore a real life submarine

Located at the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, the Oberon class Submarine HMAS Ovens is a real submarine that you can climb aboard and explore. With regular guided tours every half hour between 10am and 3.30pm, kids (aged 5 and older and taller than 100cm) and parents can learn about living aboard the sub which would have housed 63 people.

Bookings can be made at the Maritime Museum or by calling 1300 134 081.

When: Open daily, weather permitting
Cost: adults $15, children 5 years and older $7.50, family tickets available

There will be some great nature play activities for these younger children, including sensory risk-taking, craft, and "messy" play.
