Free Activities at the State Library

The State Library in Northbridge holds free sessions in The Story Place for parents with babies and pre-schoolers. The Story Place, on the mezzanine level of the library, has a selection of books for children from birth to 8 years, as well as hosting Baby Rhyme Time, Story Time and Activity Time sessions. No need to book.

Baby Rhyme Time: Tuesdays at 10.30am half an hour of songs, rhymes and fun for little ones. A 90 minute Playtime follows this during school terms.

Storytime: Wednesday at 10.30am one hour of stories, craft and songs for pre-schoolers.

Activity Time: Mondays, Thursday and Fridays between 10am and 2pm drop in sessions of free activities for children up to 5 years (during school terms only)
