Thanks to the Perth Festival and Performing Lines WA, we have been given a double pass to a special children’s performance at the State Theatre called Small Voices Louder. The double pass is for two children aged between 7 and 12 to any of the sessions between Thursday 23rd and Sunday 26th February.
Small Voices Louder is an immersive performance in two parts for young people aged 7-12yrs old by WA artist Alex Desebrock.
In Part One, children are invited to play and explore an installation that prompts them to consider and express what they really think about some of life's big questions. What does the world look like today? What makes you angry? What does the future look like?
Part Two is a sound experience that takes their playful, insightful and refreshingly honest responses to adult ears by broadcasting them through giant megaphones placed randomly around Perth during the festival.
Little people have BIG ideas and we believe that sometimes children are exactly what the world needs to hear!
Please note that this is a kids-only event. During the duration of the show (30min) parents are invited to wait in the foyer. This show is not suitable for children under 7years old and the session times are as follows:
Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th, 3pm, 3.45pm, 4.45pm, 5.30pm and 6.30pm
Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th, 10am, 10.45am, 12.30pm. 1.15pm, 2.15pm and 3pm
For a chance to win the double pass, simply email your name to firstname.lastname@example.org before 5pm on Tuesday 21st February. Please use Small Voices Louder as the subject line.
